BYÅSBAKKEN – SKI JUMP

March 25, 2017

Byåsbakken is a ski jump that local skiers use to practice and hone their skills for competition. It was built on Torshaug Hill in 1916, has been rebuilt a couple of times and is still in use today. The property and surrounding area is owned by the Byåsen Skiklubb with their red Club house lying at the base of the jump. There is also a cross country ski track that loops around the property and can be used in winter or summer (roller skis required)

Joh from You Tube used his quadcopter to explore Byåsbakken during summer, the best views are at the end of the video.
